This 2-yr old adult tabby is the best cuddler-cat that I have ever met! When I come home from work, he greets me at the door and raises his front paws up in the air to tell me that he wants to be picked up (just like an infant will raise their arms to be picked up!). Then when I pick him up, he starts purring automatically and nestles under my chin. He's also great cuddling for a nap. He'll allow you to move him next to you as you're lying down, allow you to wrap your arms around him like a teddy bear, and rest your head against him.

Lakin is a very energetic kitty - still in his kitten phase - and loves to play. His favorite toys are the kitty dancers, any string/ribbon, and cat nip toys.

My husband and I found Lakin on the street, very skinny and obviously uncared for. He has since been neutered, received his vaccination shots, and been treated for ear mites. He’s got a clean bill of health, has been socialized, and is ready for a new permanent home.

He is best in a home with no small children. Also, he can play a bit aggressively with other kittys so his ideal home would either have no other cats, or very confident kitties that will know how to handle him. He can be indoor or outdoor. Since he grew up "on the street" he'll be able to take care of himself outdoors and will want to return to the love & comfort of your home. Additionally, he has been indoor-only since August 2005 and is very happy indoors with lots of playing and exercise.

We'd love to keep the little guy but our home is already full of pets and we want Lakin to get the right home with more attention than we can currently provide. When we picked him up from the street, we had always intended to get him cleaned up and adopt him out to a good home.
