I'm from the "Fostered Five" litter, and are we a team! We eat at the same time, sleep at the same time, and our collaborative work efforts rival those of any Silicon Valley high tech company! (If one of the volunteers comes to open our door, our teamwork ensures that at least one of us can get out ... to another indoor, enclosed area!) We didn't have a mother cat who could take care of us when we were very small, so a nice person fostered us in their home just until several days ago, when it was time for us to go back to the shelter. That's when Bay Area Cat Rescue leaped into action and took us in so they could work to find us all very good homes soon. But as long as I can remember, we've handled change really well as long as we're together. That's one reason why each of us must be adopted with at least one littermate.
