Hansel has been adopted!

Hansel w/MG (BACR #1363)
Male
Domestic Medium Hair
Black and White

Hansel and Gretel were left outside a local shelter in a box with no note. But they were taken immediately into foster care by Bay Area Cat Rescue and are now enjoying the happy, playful kitten life. They were about five weeks old when we started fostering them. We don't know their earlier history, but we do know that they adjusted quickly to their foster home. They are healthy, friendly, and very tame. Their antics as they play together are hilarious. They especially enjoy diving into small, empty boxes and playing hide-and-go-seek with each other. They are intrigued with our older foster cats and are excited when they get to spend a little time with them (supervised until H & G get a little older).

Hansel and Gretel love to crawl into their foster mom's lap for petting and purring. They are very bonded to each other and cuddle and sleep together. (Hansel is on the left in the picture of them in the bed.) Hansel is more extroverted and bombastic; Gretel is more even-tempered. Neither is shy. Both are progressing well.

Hansel and Gretel will probably start 'showing' at the fairs in late July and will be ready to go to their new home together after they've completed their neuter/spay, vaccinations, and microchipping. But we are now taking adoption applications -- you can make an application anytime online!
