Bruce loves people and thrives on the attentions of our volunteers and his visitors during the pet fairs. He's eager to have fun, play, and receive petting, and he's very gregarious and comes to you easily.   Bruce is friendly and confident and gets along well with other cats.   In particular, he gets along very well with Pandora (see her profile under available cats) with whom he is living in foster care.  We would love to place Bruce with Pandora although he can also go to a home by himself or with another easygoing cat.   Bruce has had one positive FIV test -- this doesn't have to deter adopters, though... he is strong and healthy (and given that we don't have his full medical history, we don't really know whether the positive test reading might even just be due to an earlier vaccination). If you don't know about FIV, please consult a reliable source like the Stanford Cat Network FIV info page. Most cats that show the positive test result live long, healthy, and quite normal lives as indoor-only cats. Bruce is all set for and would love to go to his forever home, where we know some lucky adopters will be thrilled with him and just love this big, adorable tuxedo boy.
